Surfin Waikiki

So we took the kids to Waikiki. Our friend Dave was in town and gave the kids surf lessons. Both kids got up and had a really fun time. Todd not so much. It was a great beach day. We might go to a small surf break in Haleawa today. They have the bug. They must be related to Brett. We are having great weather and a really good time, except our dog keeps getting out at home and people are calling. We might get home to no dog. anyhoo. Loving and missing yall!! haha

Spring Is Here!!!!

tim, the girls, and i have been waiting for spring since last november, so now that it is here we are stoked to bust out our shorts and play in the sun. the girls always want to be outside, they hit the doors until you let them out, so it sucks when it is pretty one day and nasty the next. allison

Long Long Thursday

Well, many of you probably know or remember my friend piper.  She has had a really bad year with a house fire and a nasty divorce.  She has been making some terrible decisions lately.  We had the joyous opportunity yesterday to put her in rehab! (kidding really horrible)  We all know what at fun day that is.  I was mentally and physically exhausted yesterday.  She is in detox in SLC for 3-6 days and then rehab for minimum of 30 days.  It was really a long day.  Hopefully she can use this time and get better.  Her kids are being looked after by her ex and her mother.  Hopefully this will be the change she needs.  She called Wed. nite at midnite and wanted to go then but we couldnt make the arrangements until yesterday.  The church is paying for most of it and Cirque lodge is about letting her go for free (the owners loved piper).   Anyway, figured you would all hear this eventually so I thought I would just post.  Love you.  Hawaii couldnt sound any better as I wake up again to SNOW!!

Spring Break at the Coast

Here is a picture of Liam on our hacked tree out back. He is as psycho as ever about Star Wars, pirates, skateboarding etc. He still remembers that Tim "has a gun to shoot the bad guys." He also is throwing tantrums when he doesn't get his way- I think he has a lot of Dave in him-

We went to the coast over Spring Break for 1 night with Colton and Gabby. Here is a picture of the kids with the crazy huge spider crabs. Sophie and Liam had fun having a "sleep-over " at the beach. We are headed there tomorrow night for Dave's retreat.

this bird was in our backyard and i quickly thought of Brian. i looked it up online and it is a chucker partridge bird. i would of liked to have got it for you, but my dog was quicker and scared it off. allison
