Jackson's 1st pheasant hunt, he shot this pheasant with a pellet gun, he was pretty excited.

Tim wanted to post a video of the girls checking out their new kitchen from grandma, he set it up as soon as we got home (it took 3 hours to put together). They LOVE it!! he made a video of when they first walked in the room and were so excited to see it, but it was too long to post on the blog. they immediately went to cooking all the different foods from Marnie (which are amazing in and of themselves). Thank you so much grandma for such an awesome gift, it is their favorite by far!!

CRAZY SNOW!!

seriously,  I look at the pic from Hawaii and then look out my window!!  NEED TO GO BACK!!  Crazy snow>!! don't want to leave my house!!  I talked to Ma, she said Sue was getting snow and I can only imagine Lar's snowfall!!  Logan always gets dumped on!!  Holy Crap!! Hope we can all get together in a few days!!  Feel like I am in a cave!!

Happy Holidays from the Rawle's

Just a few photos from some of our holiday festivities.  We took the kids to temple square and a jazz game.  Aiden got a jazz jersey and ended up getting put up on the JumboTron while he was dancing.  Pretty cute.  He hasn't wanted to take off his "basketball clothes" since we came home.  He has worn them under everything and strips down to them as soon as we walk in the door.  He is practicing his basketball skills.  The picture of him with the nose was at his preschool christmas program.  Again pretty cute!!  The nose flashed and he was pissed he had to wear it.  Finally, we were so lucky to have the real Santa visit us.  Todd had been threatening to call him, cuz several children were not being very nice.  Lo and behold, he showed up and gave the kids a good talking too.  I so wished I had a camera on Aiden when he opened the door to this guy.  Eyes the size of golf balls.  They were so excited after Santa came to visit.  I took pic s of the other kids, but yeah, not quite so exciting.  These are the few and rare moments of the season that I enjoy.  (shopping, parties, programs, gimmee, gimmee, gimmee, not so much)!!  We did have fun at the Babbel family party. (good job MOM) and at the Check City party (yeah Al and Tim won a $1000 bucks) but overall, the holidays are a lot of work!!!  I am excited to have Sue and Dave for the holidays and love you all!  Happy Holidays.

Portland Precip.

Today we woke up to several inches of snow... and it's still snowing. Dave is trying to parlay this into missing a faculty meeting tomorrow. Check out our cardboard box and trashbag sled - it may soon double as our new house.

Let It Snow

the girls have a new found love for the snow. they walk around and throw snow at the dog or eat it off the lawn chairs. on monday, while i was at work, tim built a little snowman with them and i couldn't resist taking a picture.

Here are a few pictures from our trip. Overall, we had great weather and a good time. It was fun seeing Marnie and crew. Sophie did quite a bit of snokeling. Thanksgiving Hawaii 2008

We came, we sunned, we jumped (Alexa at Waeima Bay), we subbed (Submarine Atlantis), and WE JUMPED!!  Yes my mid-life crises having husband jumped out of an airplane!!  Well, actually Greg was having the mid-life crisis and just talked todd into jumping too!!  They loved it!  Aloha

PS We also had fun with Sissy and Dave, but I didnt take any pictures of them.  Hopefully Sue did!!

Thanksgiving at the Crofts

Here are some random pics from Thanksgiving at Brian and Candy's. our girls danced around with marley, while grandpa beat the drum and tim played the mandolin. grandma kay came and looked wonderful, shea did a great job carving the turkey, and afterwards candy busted out the old photo albums and everyone had a few laughs. it was a ton of fun. love, al

HAPPY 45TH BIRTHDAY BOY!!

Thanks Allison for getting this done on his birthday!! Thanks to everyone who called him too. We all got up on Wednesday and forgot it was Todds birthday till like NOON!! You kinda lose track of things here!! Haha happens to the best of us!! He was kinda bugged. After that we kissed his butt all day. !! He did all the things he loved!! He Golfed with his Son in the balmy Hawaiin sun, he ate all the foods he loved, and hung out with fam. He is golfing again today, so overall a good birthday!! Duh how can it not be in Hawaii!! We are having a great time! Sue and Dave made it safe and Sophie and Colin are snorkling to their hearts content. We are picking up turkey dinner at 2, so YUMMMM!! Hope everyone has a good thanksgiving. Missing you all!!

PS Mom, I forgot about the Sundance Film Festival!! I have a pass this year and it ends on Jan 15. That means I wont come to Hawaii till like the 16 or 17th. Then stay 4 weeks. I still want you to come with me if you can!! of course you can!!

My neighbor, Ashlee Raubach took some pictures of my kids.  They turned out really cute, she is really good.  They were way better behaved for her than they ever would have been for me.  It was a freezing cold day and they didnt even complain.  Sue, next time you are in town, we should have her do your kids.  She is really good, and cheap!!  Her blog is ashleeraubachphotography.blogspot.com if anyone is interested in seeing the rest of them.  There are some really cute shots.

Crazy Halloween

Whewww!!  What a crazy hectic week.  Between school parties, ward parties, birthday parties, and football games I am seriously partied out, plus I was a bit sick all weekend.  To top it all off I had to do a sharing time today that took all day saturday to plan and was kinda lame.  I have seen grandma C. a few times and she seems to be improving!!  Out of my four kids, only two would hold still for 30 secs for me to take their picture.  Jackson was out the door at 5:30 and we didnt see him till like 10.  Alexa has a new boyfriend that is occupying her and I hate the cold rain.  Time for bed.  Love you all

Trick OR Treat

The girls went trick or treating for their first time this year at the Trunk or Treat. It was great and they even let me put face paint on them. They figured out how to grab as much candy as possible pretty quickly. I had a blast watching them have so much fun. love, al
